Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026
MicroBeat ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Zeugma Labs LLC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our mobile application and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the data needed to run MicroBeat:
- Account information: if you sign in with Apple or email, we store your email address and a sign-in identifier. Email passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
- Identifiers: a random device ID created by the app and your MicroBeat user ID, used to run your account and daily fuel limits and to prevent abuse.
- Gameplay data: your rounds, guesses, scores, and streaks, linked to your user ID so we can show your stats.
- Usage analytics: in-app events (for example, “round started” or “paywall viewed”), linked to your user ID and device ID.
- Purchases: your subscription status, provided by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
- Region: your country, taken from your device settings or network, to pick the right music catalog.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use this data only to provide and improve MicroBeat: running your account and game progress, syncing purchases, preventing abuse, and understanding which features work. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings ➔ Delete Account, or by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account withdraws your consent and permanently erases your account, gameplay history, analytics events, and support messages from our servers. Apple and RevenueCat keep purchase records as required by law.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data only with providers that run MicroBeat for us: Cloudflare (hosting and database), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple (Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and song search and previews from the Apple Music / iTunes catalog). These providers must protect your data at least as well as this policy does.
